i understand emotions are high right now, but if i were you, i'd at least wait til after july 18th before going balls out on bets....stayin in shape is different from stayin in fightin shape....

many floyd fans look at JMM as a mere tuneup, but keep in mind, marquez is one badass mother****er himself...he's already hungry for his deserved, overdue props and being able to put a name like PBF of his resume, you know he's gonna bring it....

If the basis of Henry Armstrong being #3 ATG is winning and holding 3 titles at the same time within a year, then Pac should be #4 ATG and at least #3 if he wins a welterweight title (based on that analysis, and based on the current boxing scenario which seem to impede holding class/ titles simultaneously).

BTW, that list may not be updated yet, it requires comprehensive analysis before they put Pac in there, not 2 days after a fight.

I feel you i understand JMM is a very dangerous fighter but i think Floyd will prove to just be too much for him and Floyd will win a UD.....Im sticking to my bet though

You're right, I misread your post.

Anyweyz as for top 10-30 all time, I saw ESPNs list but I don't know how one can argue Pac's placement without having much knowledge of every single fighter on that list. I mean how many people can honestly recount Stanley Ketchel's achievements and significance victories without checking out Wikipedia....

IMHO I don't see how people say he isn't top 30 All Time. He most definitely is in my book. Lineal Champ in 4 divisions at 112, 126, 130 and 140. That's something no fighter has ever done. Champ in 6 divisions: 112, 122, 126, 130, 135 and 140. And not just champ in 6 divisions but the killers he faced across those.

MAB 2X, JMM2X, Erik Morales 3X, ODLH and Ricky Hatton. Manny Pacquiao faced the best, and not just that he beat all these future Hall of Famers, but the way he beat them factors in as well. What he's done is absolutely remarkable.

Manny Pacquiao is in my top 30 ATG based on this reasoning.

Manny built up more of sweat in the locker room than he did in the actual fight.

Manny is being compared to Henry Armstrong and Manny is not done yet.
So far, Manny is retiring more fighters than social security and Floyd might be on that list of retiree's. If Pacman beats Floyd, where do you put Manny on that list that Floyd will not make it on.?

Let's wait until The Human Tsunami is done before we go on but if you want to place pac in that 30 list, I would have no problem seeing him go in the top 15 greatest of all time.
Not last time, not the time before, not hammer time but of all time.
                  i second this!

manny is top 20-30 to me at the moment, and if knocks off floyd or a WW, he goes even higher

a lot of old time fighters are shown way too much respect, sure many were great and im not saying manny is greater than ray robinson or henry armstrong, but he is certainly better than jimmy wilde, jack dempsey, marcel cerdan and chavez on that list

people dont realise quite how amazing mannys accomplishments are because we are witnessing them, in 20-30 years time manny will be looked at and they will go "oh *****t....he held the flyweight and light welterweight titles???? thats ****ing crazy!"

oh and that espn list is pretty crap
