you know Mayweather is very selective when picking opponents, this is fact. He should be fighting Shane Mosley or Miguel Cotto not Juan Manual but it was after all Marquez's decision. The only thing I have a problem with Mayweather over is that he is as delusional as Hatton thinking he can step back in the picture as number one p4p with the way both Pac and Marquez have fought and his activity. . I have him at 3 until I see him fight if he goes out and destroys MArquez in two then I have him tied with Pac at 1 p4p

You are an idiot. That means that he was STILL highly rated. You don't jump from 48th to 1st.

Don't try to answer questions that exceed your intellectual bandwidth.

Floyd's biggest fear was Tony Margarito. Tony was following Floyd around and had Floyd PARANOID. Tony was trying was trying to land a fight with PBF but PBF did not want none. PBF has his eyes set on ODLH and Tony with his big head was messing with Floyd's scheme. Suddenly a shot at Baldomir came up and Floyd jumped on that for the belts and the easy pickings in a soft hitting, hard headed Baldomir who was a DINOSAUR. Floyd told Tony that after Baldomir he wanted to fight De La Hoya and that after beating ODLH, Floyd said he would give Tony his shot but right after the Baldomir fight, Floyd in the post press conference came out and said that he was going to fight one more fight and that was against OLDEN BOY and then he was going to retire. People wanted Floyd to either fight Margarito or Cotto but Floyd was afraid of both. Then suddenly Tony is caught cheating, Tony destroys Cotto and Floyd came running back. Yes Floyd faced Hatton but he was easy pickings and that is why Floyd took that fight.

But it's no secret Tony had Floyd having night mares. Just watch some of the free videos they have here on BS and you will see how pale Floyd gets when ever he was asked about Margarito. I guess in that area, it paid to be a coward because no one knew Tony was trying to cheat. Too bad for Cotto because he had the balls to take the fight and Mosley got another break because it was his people who caught and exposed Tony. Cotto came up with the short end of the stick but Cotto is a bad mother phuker and is already back and just might get his big day with the real king Manny and not that fake coward Floyd.

The fact that ESPN had EVERY one of their shows covering the results of Pacquiao/Hatton and they all gave extensive time to the fight; something it NEVER did to any Floyd fight, is proof positive of what Manny brings to the table over Floyd. Pacquiao unlike Mayweather has lost twice and has two debatable decisions against Marquez, yet all we want is to see an exciting 3rd fight with marquez and we don't care about those two losses. We all know that if you constantly test yourself, setbacks happen, but at least your striving to be the best. I like this fight between Mayweather and Marquez, but Frank is right Floyd never attempted to clear out a division that was ssoooo deep with talent. If Floyd had stayed and just fought Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, Clottey, and Williams. Then he would be respected even if he didn't defeat them all. Mayweather unlike so many other fighters before him, had a chance to make a real mark on history and create a legitmate legacy, instead, he refused to fight. It would be like asking the Celtics last year to win a title and not face the Lakers, what ****ing point would there be to that. And thats it, Floyd's career has been a giant question mark as to what exactly it really was.

really we forget he started at 130, if u rly think about it its not his division either, he just keeps in shape to stay at the 147 pound limit. if he stoped i think he'd drop weight fast

                1.

So, its ok to win the championship of a division,

but not ok to defend it against the divisions best challengers?

Can you explain how that works and why someone should get a pass for that?

                2. Yes, and the best thing is, I don't think he'd have a problem doing it.

So who do you think at 140 beats Manny?

Here's what i'm saying. You have a full time job. You are busy. You do not follow boxing full-time. Right? But the writers and experts DO follow full-time. The guys at Ring magazine live, sleep and breathe boxing. And they voted FMJ as the #1 in the sport. Not at 130. Post 130. They voted him p4p #1 for his work at 140 and up.

Why is it so easy for YOU to see what a ***** he is....but, meanwhile, the experts are busy putting him on p4p and ATG lists.

                  Please explain.
Ring magazine- Floyd is not top 25 all time.

very one-sided article. certainly some salient points made but overall it's just an elongated version of the nonsense you read on here day in day out

also he's not a very good writer

i wish more people showed the capacity to be objective (on both sides of the fence)
