taylor has quick hands but i think he was a little gun shy, his jab was lacking and mikkel is much better conditioned and also has a very good jab to set up his right hand. alot of taylors right hand shots were counters, mikkel will land his own right much more often, but even then unless he gets max leverage behind it he won't KD froch.

He takes a lot of punishment, but Kessler will fight smart in this fight if it happens and tag him to a wide UD.

Kessler would be in a bit of danger if he went into a war with Froch and exchanged punches. Froch's power is for real IMO and if anyone gets KO'd/TKO'd in this fight, It's Kessler, not Froch!

The thing is....ANY chin can be cracked if it gets caught too often. The only reason I'd go to the body against Froch would be if he stopped being so easy to catch with that straight right like Taylor was throwing.

The guy's chin could actually get him to the top, if he were to learn some skills that would keep him from getting constantly chin-checked at top levels of competition. You should maybe catch 3 or 4 punches like that throughout a fight. He caught maybe twice that in the first round. He's got to get a defensive game going if he doesn't want to end his career early, and in the prone position. He should thank his lucky stars Taylor's conditioning isn't great. That's the only reason he didn't lose an ugly decision.

Do you really think so? WIth Taylor putting leather on Carl's chin so easily, and handing him his first KD? Possible, I suppose, but I rather think that once Kessler saw how easy he can land that right hand, he'd want to close the show, give the fans a great finish.

Kessler is likely to repeat the same punches all night, and so he won't surprise Froch. I think it goes the distance as well.

He doesn't want to exchange punches with Froch i'm telling ya. Froch takes a lot of punishment but he will almost always land one big bomb amongst the flurry. That's the danger for Kessler IMO, but apart from that, this is an easy nights work for Kessler.

the above is from the english version. On the danish site he adds that "...carl is strong and awkward but also slow and open like a book. I'd love to fight him. It's one of my dream-matches."
this is the fight ive been calling for. I think kessler wins a ud froch is far too easy to hit.and yes both would have a chance at a ko ,but id lay my money on kessler by ud.

So Froch has a harder/tougher chin than Andrade???
I think Marcus Beyer could beat Froch and you saw what Kessler did to him!
Beyer was smashed in the first fight against Danny Green yet won by DQ and in the second fight he outpointed Green...Gren is a big puncher like Froch and could beat Froch as well IMO.
Kessler by a brutal Beyer like KO or wide UD...or Froch by a lucky KO.
                  He wont win a round.

Froch is like an open book, but it's a book that just refuses to close.
