If Floyd came back for legacy as he has said, why does it seem this fight is so much more of a possibility than those?

Wouldn't have made a difference, he would have been duckin either Baldy or Margarito.

Baldomir had a better resume than Margarito? At welterweight? When?

Don't know, Mayweather and Arum have probably spoken for all we know.

Better resume overall. Win over Clottey(yes a DQ), Judah, and Gatti. All Margarito was a win over Cintron and Santos really. Judah is better than Santos and Cintron...

They may have. But there is the catch my friend. According to many Floyd fans he wouldn't do buisness with Arum. NOW, even though he said he would only come back for legacy, he may be willing to speak and work something out for another huge payday. Nothing against you or any other May fan here, but if this is indeed true, can you see the hypocrisi, the excuses? Its the biggest reason for my dislike of Floyd. But in the words of the esteemed Apollo Creed, "just because you fight great doesn't make you a great fighter".

How was Judah better when he couldn't be consistent enough to beat the journeyman Baldomir? Sorry, Baldo was a nobody to anybody who knew or follows boxing. He beat an inconsistent underachiever, got a BS DQ and beat a washed up fighter who's best days were at 130. No dice, my man.

I'll answer, the difference now is that, Pacquaio is the number 1 P4P and alot more respected then Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather is looking to take his spotlight

This is a fight that will fill his pocket and enhance his legacy, both

For some reason, I have a feeling that more good would come out of Pacquaio vs Cotto as oppose to Pacquaio vs Mayweather, I really do.
