Serious question for Floyd fans...

This is a serious question for Floyd fans on here who think he can do no wrong.

I won't name names as Im not trying to start a flame war, but many of Floyds biggest protectors here were using the excuse that Floyd wouldn't fight Cotto or Margs because he was suing Arum and simply wouldn't deal with him.

Floyd also said if he came back it would be to cement legacy.

Now none of us are fools here. We all know Floyds fight with JMM leads to a Pacquiao mega payday......and soon.


If Floyd was only coming back for legacy and wouldn't deal with Arum before because of litigation......whats changed? Did they come to some sort of agreement I haven't heard of? Or was Floyd lying the whole time and just using his fans till the next monster payday came around? Im confused. Can somebody clear the air on this matter?

I can anwer this two ways. ***** version or the hater version.

*****: Floyd will deal with Arum if the payday is right.

Hater: Floyd is obviously a ***** and scuurred to fight welterweights.

I don't think, I still say we should wait. Mayweather Sr. said "JMM is a tune up for SSM" So he could possibly fight a WW, something you've all wished for.

I'm 100% sure Mayweather will fight SSM IF and IF Pacquaio vs Cotto goes down

You may be right as Im only making an assumption on a Pac-May fight. But when and if it does happen.......thats the answer Im kind of looking for. Fans were adamant why Floyd wouldn't take those fights before. Manny-Floyd seems a very real possibilty compared to those. Besides the money, whats the difference?

I never thought of that as an excuse. He fought Baldomir over Margarito because Baldomir had more exposure and a better resume at he time. He really can't say why he didn't fight Cotto at 147...
