hatton should retire, he's got nothing left to prove and its all down hill from here.

hatton has been exposed by pac and roach. hatton ****s his hands back before throwing the hook and is susceptible to hooks.

the dream was nice but its over.

he shouldn't retire just yet. he should fight someone lesser known, give his fans of manchester a good bye that they deserve.

He needs to retire. I dont know what problem he had with Mayweather Snr, but all tactics and game plans were thrown out of the window as soon as the bell rang.
It was as he said, "to hell with Mayweather Snr's game plan"..I will do it my own way..

Not for nothing...but it was written....I copied my Mar 4th post...
"Habits are very difficult to break, sooner or later in the fight Hatton will get too excited jump in with his hands low to attack the body and get "chin checked" with one of those stiff straight right that shocked DelaHoya and that will be approximately 1 rd and 1/2 tops from the end of the fight. Next stop Pac vs. winner of Mosley v Cotto II of which loser gets Juan Manuel Marquez."

hatton was never the same fighter he used to be.maybe his lifestyle in-between fights took its toll on him.

I agree, he needs to retire. The wool was pulled over a lot of peoples eyes by the Malignaggi fight. Hatton had nothing to fear with Malignaggi and didn't pay for just jumping in on him. Pacquiao is a completely different animal than Malignaggi. I could see in Hatton's face when he was coming to the ring that he knew what was coming to him. He had that look Michael Spinks had when he was walking to the ring against Tyson. The hype surrounding the fight created unrealistic expectations.

Floyd senior is the joke coach. He disses Roach and Pac saying that he is a joke and Manny is a bum fighter.

Then Hatton gets utterly destroyed in under 2 rds and got ko'd by a crucial punch that could have some permanent damage to him. What does Mayweather do? He runs away without even checking on his hurt fighter to avoid the media exposing him to the truth that he is a fluke, loudmouth.

Pacman has the decency to at least check on Hatton to make sure he is ok. Then, when safely secluded from the media, he contacts boxing scene to tell them that Hatton should retire- what a freaking coward, ***** move.

Floyd sr. is a complete and epic lifetime FAIL and should never ever train anyone to fight again. Floyd jr had better take notice and stay the f away from Pac as well or he will get KO'd for the first time in his career.

yes, I'm sure floyd told hatton to walk towards pacquiao with his hands down and keep his head as still as possible like a walking punching bag.

in fact, watch the fight again and look at what floyd sr told hatton after round 1 in the corner. he said something like "you ain't movin your head. keep moving your head and counter him." hatton didn't do any of that AT ALL.

hatton was just too nervous. when pacquiao would attack him, he would freeze up and wouldn't know what to do. hatton isn't meant to fight in big event fights. he just doesn't have the mental capacity to handle it.
