Trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. has advised his fighter, Ricky Hatton, to retire from boxing before he gets seriously injured. Hatton was blown out by Manny Pacquiao in two rounds on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao landed a left hand that knocked Hatton out cold and it took several minutes before the fighter was able to get to his feet. Following the event Hatton was taken to local hospital to get tested for any serious damage. [details]

floyd sr. is the biggest ********** trainer of all time! all that trash talking is strictly self-promotion so he can compensate for all the money he lost after floyd jr. fired him as his trainer over a decade ago. floyd sr. managed to ********** himself to de la hoya and now hatton. he took that hatton job knowing that if hatton beat manny, floyd jr. and roger would lose millions on a mayweather-pacquiao megafight!! he did it only coz he wanted to get paid for a megafight....that definitely defines a WHORE!!

His training reputation was already in question, now w/ the revelation of in fighting, ricky's poor performance, him coming in late for sparring sessions, asking for more money, working the pads w/ ricky in a orthodox stance instead of southpaw stance & having lee beard work it instead, & his overall contrived & conceitedness will no doubt do irreparable harm to his rep as a alleged great boxing trainer.

Ive said all along that if Ricky got blown out of the water that he will retire. He gave everything he had and was so outclassed I felt aweful for him. He cant compete on the top level and there is no reason to wait around to become a stepping stone. Thanks for the memories Rick, but retire and count your millions and enjoy life.
