Trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. has advised his fighter, Ricky Hatton, to retire from boxing before he gets seriously injured. Hatton was blown out by Manny Pacquiao in two rounds on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao landed a left hand that knocked Hatton out cold and it took several minutes before the fighter was able to get to his feet. I actually think Hatton can still be competitive at 140, just not with Manny Pacquiao but that kind of knockout does normally do some lasting damage though.

I also think Hatton should get rid of Mayweather Sr., they're styles are just all wrong for each other. Freddie Roach is a better fit for Hatton than Mayweather.

Floyd won't even fight the good fighters in his own 147 weight class, if he isn't at 147 fighter then why does he continue to stay around that weight division? He fought the weakest bunch at 147, not cotto, mosley, margacheato, or williams.

I agree...i was a Floyd fan before but he has shown his nerves, avoiding Cotto (one of most anticipated match before), Mosley, etc...
