would have preferred if he fought kostya , cotto , marg and mosley rather than gatti and baldomir.

Who did he beat to win the titles ? did he avoid challenges while moving up in weight?
I mean Daniel Santos is champ at 154 or something like that. Cotto can move up win the title and then move down or retire, but he would have beaten an average champion while avoiding top fighter from his own weight class.
