Apparently, Jack Loew has never been on boxingscene; because the majority of the posters here don't have high expectations on John Duddy. However, to Duddy's defense, John is what he is. He's a decent fighter, who has a blood 'n guts mentality, and who is wildly entertaining and who is a fringe contender...

I've always said Duddy was overrated and done rather well to get were he is, and I think most of that was due to his big Irish following. But terrible defeat for him, no dout......

Pavlik is a tad bit overatted but not as much as people say ,dude is still the truth, duddy was overated but only as a middle weight, if he went down to 154 like he should have none of this would have happened,

i havent watched duddy a lto but the fights i have seen he lost, the judges gave it to him but he got outboxed, nothing against the guy but he looked awful and pavlik knocked out taylor and beat him over 12 in a rematch, pavlik and duddy shouldnt be able to get in the ring together, he would get slaughtered.
