By that reasoning does that mean Pacquaio is overrated to as he lost early in his career as did Hopkins

I like the guys cos hes irish and he seems like a decent enough guy too and id like to see him do well.
But all you gotta do is look at his fights!
He gets hit way to much, hes a typical irish slugger but he got the rest to go with it.
Maybe he does deserve a bit of slack because as you said it is early in his career but i dont see him getting very far.

Duddy would have fared worse than Lockett. In fact I think Lockett would have beaten him. Lockett is a fringe contender and had some defense. Duddy is a journeyman who somehow was undefeated.

When Duddy was tossed around as a possible title contender I considered it a farse. Bob Arum looking for an easy as pie fight to make Kelly look good. Duddy is an exciting give and take fighter, but you could see how much he would struggle with durable average fighters.

Hes overrated duddy for sure,
he doesnt deserve a title shot.
I like him and would really love to see him get a title shot but i just dont think he has done enough to deserve one.

i never really followed kelly but i always read the hype but when i seen him fightin hopkins he looked awful!!

Aaah, I see the Team Pavlik haters have gathered on this thread.

First off it is spelled Loew, not Leow like a cat's meow.

Second, Jack spoke the truth, his boy Lyell is a tough kid but a B level fighter who isn't even on the level of a Pavlik sparring partner. Pavlik lost to one of the all time great middleweights in Hopkins, what is Duddy's excuse? Kelly is hands down the most UNDERRATED fighter on this board.

Third, the Abraham fight is coming and coming soon. I can't wait to see all the bandwagon jumpers fall off of Arthur's nuts when he loses to Pavlik.
