Since then Taylor has picked up his defense, and it shows because Kelly couldn't knock him out in the rematch.

Froch can truly ****, and i bet you that if Jermaine was getting hit with flush right hands sooner then he did, he would have been stopped much sooner. Also, i don't believe that either Johnson or Tarver is the kind of punchers they showed against Jones( who had a questionable chin by that point) because neither has scored brutal knockouts like that before or since that fight. Froch is on another level when it comes to real power.
Taylor just isn't a smart fighter and isn't conditioned very well. Froch throws his punches way too wide and sloppy and is always off balance somehow. I just dont see him beating this Roy and he def wont be B-hop or any other greats. Taylor needs a new trainer and a better strength and conditioning coach. The only reason froch won was because of taylor wearing down in the later rounds.

I agree to a point. But there is also 5 years of ageing to factor in as well.

Taylor faded that way because Froch was bringing pressure, and pressure from a naturally bigger fighter is a lot to handle, plus one that has one punch KO power and excellent stamina. Jones is not as strong as Froch, he doesn't have the legs to keep him off for 12 rounds and hes not as fast as he use to be. I see Froch cutting the ring off and wearing Roy down with consistent body punishment while he relaxes on the ropes, and when Roy gets tired( normally around the middle rounds at this point) it will be the beginning of the end for him.

Lets not let the Sheika fight fool us, Roy looked good and i enjoyed watching it, but Sheika is no Froch and hes been inactive for about 2 years. Imagine would Froch would have done to that same version of Sheika? Froch vs Jones at this stage is clearly a mismatch.

No matter how you look at this fight, its a winnable fight for even this version of Roy Jones Jr. Froch has way too many flaws that is why the poll is so close.

I'd find it hilarious to watch a pasty white guy dropping his left low, versus a slick black guy who drops his left low - but gets away with it.

            MAKE THE RUCKING FIGHT!!!!

Jones even at this stage is sharper and faster than Froch, if he can take Froch punch ''big if'' he can definetly win an easy decision.

Froch Jones would be a carbon copy of Taylor Froch.

I actually see this fight as a blow out. Froch may have flaws, but hes not nearly as bad of a boxer as some people make him out to be, in fact he out boxed Pascal. He looks like hes slow and plodding, but hes actually thinking and looking for a counter punch. Taylor( who would also knock Jones out at this point) is one of the best technical boxers in the sport, he could make a lot of fighters look bad. The important part is that Froch did what champions do and found a way to get the win.

It would end much sooner and probably more brutal.

                    Tarver hits harder than Froch.
