Tiger has big potential because you can play Golf for a long time and continue to win. He already started a Youth Education program but I'm not sure if it extends outside of the US yet. To me, education of the youth is vital and the key part to bring people closer together. If Tiger Woods so chooses, he can spread the Education program across the World, specifically targeting "poorer" countries. With Tiger Wood's multiracial background along with his family now, he is truly a World-Wide representative of "race" doesn't matter and he seems accepted around the Wrold.
    All that from a Golfer.

It's just harder to get notice for good deeds in the USA than some other countries. Many Top Athletes do good deeds and give back but it goes unnoticed which some athletes probably don't mind because they aren't doing it for the cameras.

Mate, you really need to do a little research before posting such total BS. Quite literally wars stop when Pacquiao fights, both the Pinoy army and communist and ****** rebel groups have stopped fighting to watch. The guy could be a major political figure when he quits sport - hardly true of Beckham or Ronaldo!!

mak, is being sarcastic...of course he knows everytime there's a Pacman fight its an event not just a boxing match....crime goes down to almost zero...alqaeda rebels and communist guerillas stops fighting the government..government offical takes a break stealing from the governemnt coffers because they are all in Las Vegas watching the fight....

what ***ing athlete can do that or have an effect, impact like Pacquiao everytime he fights?

        NADA....

Do Mike & Mike in the morning give love to boxing now? I remember both those guys were completely ignorant to the sport, then I saw Mike Greenberg on Friday night fights doing some drills with Atlas.

He's an all around nice guy. He gives so much to charity, even Roach said it himself that if he didn't tell Manny to cut back on charity, he would end up giving it all away. Rarely does he ever say anything hateful about another boxer or trash talk, he's humble. I'm afraid that he'll quit boxing altogether and become a politician. He said in a recent interview that he is still undecided about retiring after 2009 since he wants to become a politician.
