    Manny's in the right spot to be popular and have such influence. His behavior and good deeds go a lot farther in his country than say if he was an American and doing the same things in the USA.
    It's good that Manny comes from humble origins and gives back himself.

        wtf, Tiger Woods isnt influential. Does he have an entire country devoted to every decision he makes??? 50% of america couldnt give a **** about Tiger woods, where as 100% of the phillapines loves and listens to Pacquiao

                      Yup. He was basically given a choice and he stayed the course and stuck by his people. Good upbringing I guess...."What would Jesus do"? Well, maybe not box but he would give back to the people. Can't say boxing is such a bad thing if it is enabling a poor kid like Pac to give so much back. I hope Pac's future is a good one and he doesn't get to egotistical (which can happen).
