This is scary. Some people actually think Hatton will be #1 if he beats Pacquiao. Like... Hatton would beat anyone if weight was no issue, because after all, that's what P4P means.

      WOW.

You don't need to be Oscar De La Hoya or own the RING mag to know how the rankings work. Hatton will never be P4P #1.

And Oscar owns the RING Magazine. Yikes!!!

I've said it before Hatton will not be #1 P4P, I don't care how he beats Manny and Manny WILL NOT BE the Greatest of All Time if he beats Hatton to a pulp.

          Stop the craziness!

Why won't he? If he beats Pac and then JMM, only haters will not have him #1.

IF Hatton beats Pacquiao, he'll be shocked when he discovers he isn't in the top spot.

Because it's based on more than one accomplishment. Do you really need it to be explained?

So your saying its wrong that a boxer should aim to be the number 1. You can guarentee that if Hatton wins and does not get to no 1 p4p in the ring magazine for eg, he will go after a fight with who ever will help him on his way to the no 1 spot. I know it sounds a bit repettitive and most boxing observers realise hes not going to be no 1 p4p after this fight but it hypes it up amongst casual fan. Hattons attitude and commitment to win should be applauded not criticised.

                      That's a bold statement.

So if Hatton beats - Pacquaio, Marquez, and then maybe Bradley, he wouldn't be the best fighter in the world?
