I understand your point about fighting in America and gaining recognition. Froch made his best effort to do that by having his first defense against a well known opponent in America. If that doesn't get him the exposure/respect he craves, I am afraid nothing will. Carl should be commended for the risk he took not put down and laughed at.
We won't get a Carl Froch again for a long, long time

The guy is too SLOW and easy to hit ,his power is ovverrated and if TAYLOR doesn't fade he wins.He came 14 seconds away from losing to a fighter who hasn't scored a knockout since before HOPKINS and has been beat and knocked out in 7 ALREADY.I can't take away his heart but even his chin isn't that good.He was hurt multiple times and this coming from someone who was there saturday night at FOXWOODS.I really wanted FROCH to be the next great thing since I do dislike CALZAGHE,but CALZAGHE would absolutly embarrass FROCH.He would be WAY TO SLOW and easy to hit.One sided UD for CALZAGHE,at first I thought FROCH could ko him,no way ,too slow and his punches would be telegraphed all night. If I was TEAM FROCH,I wpould stay FAR away from KESSLER,ANDRADE,DIRRELL-I think SAKIO BIKA and ALLEN GREEN are VERY DANGEROUS but winnible fights.Comment

Exactly.
Say what you will about his fighting style, but the man wants to fight the best and is willing to go to other guys' turf. Those are balls right there.Comment

I don't think he relies on toughness...he's just tough. He also has a solid chin, good power and is an excellent counterpuncher. His best trait however is his looseness in the ring. He's very relaxed, wasting little motion.Comment
