Marquez would definitely be above him. But then it's is a toss up between him and Hopkins.
why though? Hatton would be 46-1 with a victory over the guy Marquez has lost to twice.

I say P4P number one. If they are smart, Hatton should be placed there so Mayweather will come back and fight him for P4P supremacy. It will be a mega fight.

Your right. You have a case to put Hatton at no1. But the p4p list is all about opinion, and in my opinion Hatton would be at 2-3.

I think Marquez's recent acheivements would slightly eclipse Hattons even if he beats Pacquaio. However, you do have a good argument to put Hatton at 1.

If he wins by close UD/SD 4, if he KO's and Manny looks too small at the weight 5 if he outboxes Manny 3.

when your thinking up your p4p list, how far back do u go (time wise)?
I go back about 2 years give or take a few months and dismiss everything before then as its about who the best currently. I was wandering what everyone else does.

Me too thats why I object to R Marquez being on the list. You can stay on teh list due to historical achivement while not beating people on the list but you need to keep wining high ranked division opponents.

R Marquez hasn't won in over 2 years.

                    I agree 2 - 2 1/2 years it should be.

But to be honest P4P Lists are just like GOAT lists too many opinions.

I dont see how anybody can put him in the number one spot just from a win in his own weight division. Hatton is meant to win as this is his comfort zone, where he's been a title holder for the last 5 years.

Hatton should be #1 P4P if he beats the #1 P4P fighter (Pac) as a heavy underdog. Hatton SHOULD be ranked higher P4P but he's underrated and dropped WAY to far on most P4P lists because he moved up in weight and lost ONE fight to the previous P4P #1 fighter and hasn't lost since.

Hatton is the ONLY fighter on the P4P list to be penalized so heavily for ONE loss and that was to the guy that's regarded as the best fighter of this generation by many so called experts. There are several fighters ahead of Hatton P4P with numerous losses to much lesser fighters than Floyd...

P4P is subjective and most lists are OBVIOUSLY biased by the person doing the rankings!
