Skillwise, I have not seen anyone that I can say is "better" than Mayweather.

However i could name easily name a few fighters who are certainly not worse either.

That does not mean that they are all tied, but I don't have enough evidence to rate them. And honestly, 90% of ppl who are doing it here are jsut clowning.

TALENTwise Jones is untouchable, and I probably rate him #1 all time in terms of physical gifts.

Here's the weird part...

I don't know which Hopkins was better, prime or past his prime.

Prime Hopkins was pretty limited.

Only when he got past his prime did he learn all the tricks that he uses to absolutely embarrass his opposition.

You think prime Hopkins would have done that well against Pavlik? No... it would have been a war where Pavlik had plenty of good moments.

very few guys are ever in their physical and technical prime together.

generally guys depend on their physical tools and don't start improving technically 'til they get older.

the young hopkins' body with the old hopkins' smarts would have been a very scary fighter.

Floyd LOOKS to a lot of people to have ATG talent but at the end of the day you have to prove yourself and he hasnt proven himself to be more skilled than guys like Ali/Duran/Robinson etc.

Of course to the layman(or black supremacist) guys like Floyd and Judah look talented, but at the end of the day a fighter needs trial by fire.

Floyd did fight Castillo and eked out a decision. And DLH and eked out a split decision.

He did beat the **** out of jail-bound Chico Corrales. And Hatton.
