I dont think speed is a skill more than a talent.

a prime JMM is on par skill wise with some of the best

          1) That is a fair statement. I could see how you can say that speed is "an attribute" just like power is.

          2) No, JMM is not. Good fighter. Very good. Not in the discussion with Hopkins, Toney, SRL, Floyd. Think "guys who make you miss and make you pay".

In fact, i don't know if i've seen a JMM fight where he wasn't roughed up. including Rocky juarez.

Why the "LOL". i can't tell if you're joking or serious. Pls clarify.

And Hopkins can not win any way he chooses. You can beat Hopkins with athleticism: jones, taylor twice and Calzaghe. If you don't get ****** into the technical boxing, you can beat Hop.

having seen his career from way back I can make that statement and be assured its correct.

amazing though, not to sound racist because I think everyone who knows me knows Im not but just about everyone mentions Black fighters when it comes to the most "skillful"

              wrong perception IMO

PBF doesnt have the legacy that those guys have.

Ali? **** Ali is the #1 heavy ATG or (#2 if you pick Louis, which I dont). Ali fought everyone from patterson and Moore to Holmes. That is every deserving fighter from 3 generations of boxers. He lost some but more than enough he came out on top. Same as SRL, he was in there with many ATGs and came out on top more than not. If PBF was a few years younger and had to fight Mosley, DLH, Whitaker, Forest, Quartey ect. believe me he would have some loses but if he won the majority of those his legacy would be better.

Hopkins is a lock for top 2 or 3 middleweight of all time. Is PBF even a top 5 of any weight class?

I do say though that he is more skilled than JMM. Bottom line is JMM got dropped many times against Pac, its his fault for getting tagged with those shots. PBF would not have gotted hit with those shots in the first place, he has better defense and is more skilled than JMM.

This conversation is not about "Legacy".

Does the word "skills" confuse you?
