I think Hatton is overall a better fighter.

He appears to be more patient in his attack instead of just rushing in like he used too. He seems to of picked up on his defense abit as well.

That was DAMN impressive to me, because Malignaggi won a world title with his jab alone... and it's a pretty good one.
paulie was a paper cchamp walking around with hattons ibf belt..his two fights before hatton were terrible abd he shouldve lost both..sorry paulie was shot before hatton got to him

          Styles make fights............

Not to sound cliche' but it's true. That's why all the people that claim to know what will happen because they have fought this guy in common or that guy in common, don't know ****.

Let's say for example that Hatton beats Pac, people will automatically say Mayweather will kill Pac then right? Then Pac could go out there and beat Mayweather, you never know.

Just like in the case of Margarito, Cotto and Mosley.....

I think this will be a tougher fight for Pac than people think. Hattons size will be a factor in this fight. He might be 10-12 lbs heavier than Pac on fight night.

It's why my posts have been lacking their usual intelligence.

Listen, Larry, I'm just hard on you because I know you have the capacity to hold a really intelligent conversation on pretty much any topic in boxing...

You just have reverted to going to war about Mayweather...

I mean, really, that Mayweather mafia thread was just a joke, and you took it super personally and rallied up the army or something.

Come on man, don't let these ****ing idiots bring you down.

I have not seen enough of this new Hatton under the tutelage of Mayweather Sr. Floyd Jr did not allow us to see Hatton all too much because Floyd flipped the role on Hatton in which it was Floyd who was doing all of the hugging and holding and ducking below Hatton's waist neturalized Hatton. An inferior fighter in Paulie Malignaggi tried the same tactic minus the elbows of course and Malignaggi was getting dominated. But these two fights are not enough of a barometer for me to make a clear call. You all have to keep in mind that styles makes fights and Manny and PBF are two completly different fighters in so many different ways that none of this should even really matter, me thinks. We wont know what we are getting until the night of the fight.

alot more polished fighter than he was for Floyd. under Graham it was all crach, **** and wallop. now under Sr it is about timing and the right movement instead of just goin in for the big punch. he was alot more patient in his last fight than I have seen in a very long time, probaly for first time in his career.

Hatton was in good physical condition against PBF. He was very fast and got inside quickly, hes got quick legs and hands. He also had good stamina he just was getting hit too much which is a defense/strategy issue.

The whole weight thing is blown out of proportion and doesnt matter. Hatton at 140 will come in at 152 anyways. PBF or Pac at 147 would come in at 149-150 and probably a little less at 140. Both of them are small welters as well so it wouldnt matter if they face Hatton at 140 or 147 its the same ****.

Strategy wise against PBF, like others said, Hatton had no plan B and his defense was nonexistant, he had no head movement and just came straight in eating counters all night. He is surely gonna be better in the Pac fight in terms of head movement and footwork.

Hey, had Margarito been allowed to fight with his loaded gloves, he would have beat Mosley.
