Since Floyd Sr took over Hattons got better defensively, his aggression is more controlled and he'll have a better game plan but it aint enough tools to beat Pac come May 2nd.

Well, he did look better against Malignaggi than he did against Mayweather or Lazcano, and that was his first fight with Sr. as a trainer, so...

I think the clues are there that he has become a better fighter.

Yup, I had surgery yesterday, and have watched that fight (since it's on HBO on Demand) about 4 times in the last 24 hours. I haven't really had the capacity or the motiviation (thank god for pain pills) to do much else.

I do think that I have a pretty good understanding on how he looked there.

That was DAMN impressive to me, because Malignaggi won a world title with his jab alone... and it's a pretty good one.
