This will be a good fight.
And I am glad Floyd is fighting A fighter like JMM for his comeback fight.
because no matter what JMM is not going to lay down.
that why we know this will be a exciting Comeback fight.
          I am excited.

I am personally going to vegas to see this fight.
I give Floyd major Props for putting his record on the line against a fighter like JMM after a 2 year lay off...

Hopefully this fight we will see floyd go back to his 140 days of fighting..
because it will be almost certain fireworks.

Mayweather and Hopkins are the lineal champions at the weight (147 and 175 respectively).

Both are coming back from a long layoff to fight a P4P elite in their next fight.

JMM was at 130 forever, and has been blowing up 135 for the last couple of fights, will be skipping 140 and will fight Mayweather at a catchweight.

Wright was at 154 for his whole career, and then moved up to 160... Didn't quite blow it up like JMM did 135, but he did get a disputed draw against Taylor (should have been a win to be frank). He moved up to fight Hopkins at a catchweight.

Hopkins won a hard bout, which Mayweather will likely do.

A lot of people gave Hopkins a lot of credit for beating Wright... obviously not 100% credit because it was not Wright's best weight, but...

I do see a lot less credit is being given to Mayweather for his win over Marquez (the way people are posting about it now doesn't make it hard to predict what the reception is going to be when/if Mayweather wins).

So... I do think you have to have it one way or the other. However much credit you gave Hopkins, I do think you would have to give the same amount to Mayweather.

This comparison actually made this matchup a little more legit in my eyes, hopefully it does so for other people too.
jmm is a tune up. that is all.

The problem is, with the size differential, he's really not risking his record like he would if they were the same size. JMM is a good lightweight, but is completely unproven at welterweight.

Maybe Floyd fans don't realize this, but... calling JMM a tune-up fight can only bring about negative reactions to it.

How are we supposed to give tremendous amounts of credit for Floyd winning a tune-up fight?

You know, both B-Hop and Winky looked bad in that fight. I wouldn't say it'll be the same, I'm about 100% sure, we'll see JMM/ Mayweather perform very well
