I dont think JMM is better then any of them...at the times Floyd fought them.

Castillo...Corralles....Hatton and Judah all beat JMM imo.

How about moving up to his 5th division to fight Oscar when he is a small WW himself?

People are pretty quick to overlook the good parts of Mayweather's resume for some reason.
Wow,easy big guy,I'm talking about who was favored!I never said floyd has an easy time, all I was saying is B-hop has pulled off the upset wayyyyyyyyyyy more times!!!!Compairing the 2,isnt fair to B-Hop,thats all!!B-HOP destroyed a prime and pumped Tito,Pavlik and beat the bigger stronger Tarver!!!

Okay well that is your opinion. I personally don't think it is even up for debate.

            Gotcha gotcha...

            My fault.

Although, really, I think, other than Trinidad and Tarver, Hopkins never won as the underdog... His only other one he wouldn't have been favored in would have been Jones, and he lost.

            Maybe I'm wrong on this...

Some people forget how olad 42 is sometimes because of the ease at which he continues to fight. Also I think there was less of a size difference in he Wright Hopkins fight. Throughout he majority of their careers they were only separated by one weight division. There was actually talk of the two fighting at middleweight. But then again Mayweather doesn't use his physical size in fights unlike Hopkins, so I guess the weight matters less. The question is how much the extra weight will slow Marquez down.
I think this is a good win for Floyd to put on his resume however I think it is completely dependant on how good Marquez looks during the fight. Regardless of weight this is the greatest prime fighter Floyd has fought in his career.
Eh... idk, the size difference in Hopkins-Wright was pretty sizable.

Wright did not look good in that 170 pound body, at all. He looked sluggish and flat.

Yea I'm not saying it wasn't. The fight was competetive and I hope the same for the Mayweather Marquez fight as that always goes someway to justifying the credibility of the fight.

You mention earlier about Hopkins being the underdog against Tarver and Trinidad, not Pavlik? or were you referring to fights before the Winky fight?

I had surgery this morning, and am still on heavy pain meds...

I'm going to try to blame those for writing 2 completely brain-dead posts in a row.

For ****'s sake, what is WRONG with me?!?

I remember wondering why Pavlik was such a big favorite considering Hopkins had just barely lost to Calzaghe.

Okay, I promise, come back another day and see me posting when I'm not doped up to the eyeballs, and you will see that I'm not a complete idiot.
