    I didn't boxrec it though. I just knew Chavez was his 27th fight, but I did forget that he fought Burton (which was what he went by back then, not Augustus) was at 135, or at least above 130... I did think it was at a catch weight in between, was it not?

    I actually used to be the biggest Floydboy on the entire forum (well, not quite, but close), and had Floyd's entire career record memorized.

      Floyd has always fought at 130 or above during his pro career, JMM has had 50 of 55 fights below 130.


      Floyd grew into welterweight by his late 20s, JMM remained at 126 well into his 30s.

        I was at that fight it was in detroit...my hometown.

          I don't think anybody is saying Floyd is smaller than JMM, it's just a lot closer than some choose to see it.
