I primarily watch boxing to appreciate the skills, so definately the first option.
Yes, and you'd be appreciating nothing if a fighter doesn't have drawing power. The sport would be dead, people gotta understand we need both and one isn't more important then the other
We all saw how they didn't want to pay for Johnson vs Adamek and Clottey vs Paul Williams, we're not blind
Case in point; during PBF-DLH, I found myself trying to convince my friends to NOT start our poker game early. By the 6th round, they had lost all interest…I spent the rest of that fight trying to educate them on the intricacies of the sweet science and that the fight was not ‘boring’….even my boxing buds began waning and just sat there…
That same group came over a few weeks after and my cousin was watching Chico-JLC….guess what? They all sat down and watched, and cheered as if they were watching live….they even rewound the tape to watch it DURING our poker game
Those are the types of fights, as a boxing fan, that I WANT to showcase…not some fight that HBO is shoving down our throats
You can build yourself up, take Paul Williams for example, dude is fighting whoever they put in front of him. By no time, everyone will know his name. Some people are just bigger draw then other, due to their personality.
Lets all remember that both prime DLH/ Shane didn't want Mayweather because he was a no namer at the time
He has beaten Quintana,Winky and Margarito. People STILL don't know who he is.
tua told me the other day you were his alt... then laughed it off and said "i thought this was common knowledge, i made that account when i got banned for a week"
