It's really fun to me debating PPV numbers and watching 24/7.

I haven't watched a fight in years to be honest.

How many people watched just one fight in the Izzy Rafa trilogy compared to "The World Awaits"?

Which was better for the sport?

What was the last fight you heard about that had no viewers?

i'd rather see two beautiful technicians dance around the ring while pretending to probe each other with their fists versus 2 (small) neaderthals beating each other senseless

or his ability to draw mainstream fans?
as a fan, skillset is more important.

I guess we shoulnd't have that many fights then, right? Since there aren't as many big names.
You can build yourself up, take Paul Williams for example, dude is fighting whoever they put in front of him. By no time, everyone will know his name. Some people are just bigger draw then other, due to their personality.

Lets all remember that both prime DLH/ Shane didn't want Mayweather because he was a no namer at the time

The two are interconnected, exciting fights will draw fans and it's usually the good fighters who have the exciting fights.

Mayweather is the exception as his fights are normally boring as fcuk.

                Drawing power = more money.

Make the answer obvious for 90% of boxers.

exactly. as FANS, we wanna see 2 boxers go at it, and beat the hell outta each other.....for the actual BOXERS, who are in there, they'd rather fight guys who bring money to the table.

All I care about is being entertained by a skillful warrior, I could care less how much money a fighter makes for himself or his promoters or how many fareweather fan they bring in.

I primarily watch boxing to appreciate the skills, so definately the first option.
