Mayweather picked to fight Hatton over Cotto. True story. If it was the other way around, Cotto's 0 would be gone instead of Hatton's.

Hatton brought him $15 Mill, second highest pay check that was available. But you would have fought Cotto for $5 Mill right?

It does not really bother me, while the desire for a Floyd-Cotto Floyd was high, I really do not think anyone even tried to make the fight. Not bull**** press stuff I mean really trying to make it happean. We missed a second Floyd-Oscar but that really does not hurt my view.


I am interested to see with his comeback, I am pretty sure Floyd would be called a ***** if he fights JMM then Pacman (that fight is going to be hard as hell to make so who knows if they do actually fight) but Floyd has proven he does not care about that, so it will be interesting to see if he fights someone really dangerous during his comeback.

I think it is kind of ****** that he retired unless he needed the time off, had a huge 2007 and did nothing in 2008. His star power is still fine I think, but he certainly did not grow his star away from the ring, so really he just wasted 2 prime earning years (not to mention the prime years in the ring that he could have helped his career with).
