I would say so too, but the weight might affect Marquez negatively. Marquez has never fought that high. This is actually a ****** fight for Mayweather to take, high risk/ low reward if I may say myself.

But I'm sure the casual fan doesn't know that Marquez moved up to fight Mayweather.

Why is it cool, if Pac beats Hatton, for Pac to fight Floyd but not Marquez?

Are Pac and Marquez not close enough in size and skill? Did they not put on two of the closest and best fights in years together?

Why would it be ok for Pac but not Marquez? JJM deserves the payday too.
That is a very good point.

          • Marquez vs. Mayweather this summer
            in Vegas
            Im There...
the ricky hatton fight was bananas and vegas was popping for weeks leading up to that fight. It felt like everybody in vegas was a hardcore boxing fan.
And the brits were talking mad **** but it was funny because after the fight they hype mayweather up so much you would think mayweather was really the greatest of all time.

this fight is going to be a war....
Because Marquez is not coming to lay down...
and I think floyd is going to try again **** it out with Marquez like he did with chavez.....

I think this will be floyd most exciting fight of his whole career even over the gatti fight because Marquez is going to catch floyd with some good **** and you know floyd is going to catch marquez with some good ****.

Why, are all the Mexican fans that your going to see waving Mexican flags going to be there for Floyd?

Because HBO can't afford to pay Floyd for a WCB fight.

                  • I hope it's near 140 pounds at least. I'm going to forget about my feelings about Floyd's opposition and just think about the matchup, which is one I've always been interested in.

I just never thought the fight would be possible...

Because this fight should make a lot of money. More people in the US will buy this fight than Pacquaio-Hatton.
