Of course Taylor can improve. But I maintain he can't improve by much. He fought a great fight. Froch fought a stinker. I base this on several fights I've watched him in where he has performed far better. I mean, he could knock two rounds off Taylor's scorecard by doing little more than holding his gloves eight inches higher and refraining from wild haymakers which are there to be countered. And we haven't even started on him leading exclusively with the jab and following up with a crisp 1-2 - a tactic that consistently paid dividends despite Froch's seeming antipathy towards it.

I agree with you for the most part. The only problem I have is the notion that Taylor can't win a rematch. There is no certainty in this sport. Froch may be over confident in the next bout and find himself in even more trouble. You just never know.

My vote goes to the Miranda/Ward loser. He just lost a tuff close fight and should fight someone who is not considered a top fighter to gain some confidence, but still has a good name.

Plus the winner should get a shot with Froch. It is a good fight for Froch and should satisfy his mandatory. I would imagine if Miranda beats Ward he will get the top spot.

Pascal cant make SMW anymore so that rules that one out, he should either try and get a rematch with Froch or try and get another eliminator fight.

Miranda aint all that but he has the pop to KO Jermain again. It'd be exciting but a risky fight, if Jermain lost he'd be totally ruined.

If he doesn't do sumtin bout that stamina any of these guys have a chance to beat em...
