Taylor to return in Sept, who should he fight?

In the post-fight press conference, Jermain Taylor's promoter, Lou Dibella, said Taylor will likely fight again in September, but did not speculate as to a possible opponent.

Considering this will be a comeback fight, and he is 1-3 in his last four fights, who should he be matched against? Should he be matched against a soft opponent, or another champion?

(not enough options for a "retire" or "rematch" entries, so if you think he should retire or immediately rematch Froch, then post it).

Also, I'm aware Jean Pascal is rumored to be fighting Diaconu at LHW next, but I put him in the poll because until that fight is confirmed, he should be in the mix.

Rematch. Definitely. I will respect Froch for the rematch more than any other fight right now.

Allan Green for the right to challenge for one of the major SMW titles. Either that or Miranda, or a Froch rematch.

I think Bika would be a good fight. I doubt Bika could knock him out, and it would be a good fight for Taylor to get some rounds in.

But people shouldn't rule out a big fight. He needs a tune up first, but Taylor is still a marquee name, and no doubt a top fighter in the SMW division.

His next fight should be with retirement.

I'd like to see him fight the Ward/Miranda WINNER to get back in the picture. I think Ward is going to win that fight, so it probably wouldn't be an exactly easy fight. I have Taylor definitely beating Pascal either by points or late stoppage.

Miranda. That fight would sell no matter if Pantera loses against Ward I think.

I say Peter Manfredo Jr would fit the bill perfectly for an easy comeback fight against a "named opponent".
