Seriously... "They think they can just go and come as they please"....isn't that what a boxing gym is supposed to be about? I know Manny's got a big fight but ****... its a boxing gym.

Yeah I've been hearing that Moorer hasn't been putting out a good vibe at the gym. Makes me wonder why Roach picked him as an assistant. Maybe he felt sorry for him and gave him a job just like that other kid that works there? I mean, he's charging a buck for everyone that leans on the front table? He looked like he really needed that money when they showed him counting his dollar bills.

Moorer is funny as hell, but he does seem kind of crazy. Especially when he made that guy pay a dollar for leaning on the counter .

Maybe it depends on the Gym.

Moorer trained at Kronk and then went with Teddy Atlas.

Not sure which influence is greater, but I suspect Atlas could have had a big part of it. Atlas got a lot of his style, if not all, from D'Amato who despite his size, even Tyson said he feared him. Straight up Military Style mentality.

You can't have distractions and that is what Moorer was saying. Even Freddie was on the same level of thinking but Freddie is a nice guy which is why he asked them kindly to leave. Moorer, will tell you to pick your **** up and get the hell out.

How many were "boxers" in there and how many were "fans" probably trying to get a glimpse of Manny and maybe disrupt his training?

Really Old School days you could pay your nickel or whatever it was and watch a Champion train. But I doubt any trainer even in those days would allow anybody disturb the fighters training for a title fight...which is also why you had Champions/Fighters going away to camp and keeping everything controlled with the media and fans that come.
