ponce was just round 1 eventhough he was as big and as young as juanma.
jerry was not big.and past his prime still lasted 9 rounds.if freddy wasnt there.i think he plans to continue it till 12.

Penalosa really surprised me with his skill in this fight.
Anyone else would have been knocked out much sooner.
He was blocking a lot of those shots by Lopez he was very crafty about his work.
This guy has an amazing heart......AMAZING.
I dont think I have ever seen a guy fight back like that except FEROZ of course.

First of all I take my hat of to Gerry, that's a fighter, he stood there tried to fight but he was outgunned by a better fighter, any fither would have folded under those bombs.

By the way to those who say Peņalosa is a bum, then what that makes Jhonny Gonzalez be?

Peņalosa could still compete, he should go back to 118lb, with the arrival of Darchiyan and Montiel there could be some good fights made.

I agree Gerry has one more big fight in him darch & montiel would be great! and winnable...
