Floyd beating Pacman at 147 is the same as Pernell beating JCC at 147

This is quite simple. Pernell become an ATG beating the number one Jr WW and P4P best at WW limit. Yet for some reason it’s wrong for him to fight Pac who should be number one Jr WW soon and P4P best at WW. Pacman has proved himself at WW unlike JCC

    How does this work???

The point is not about fighting Pro or ams. You guys use that 106 as a way saying Pacman is very small, which he is NOT.

As long as Floyd can still show up at 150 or under or very close to Pac by fight-time weight, which should be 147+, I don't see what the big deal is. When they are on the scales, they aren't going to go fight. But once they enter the ring, that's when it matters. That's why I say fight-time weight.

However, I've always been with you with having him fight Cotto.
I wouldn't even mind skipping Pac just for him to fight Cotto but the only way that will happen is if Pac loses to Hatton which will leave Floyd with few options. If Pac wins, Floyd's going to try to get a fight with Pac.

Let me a critic and u a fan, find some common ground, wouldnt u say, that floyd is an underacheiver, because I am the first to admit, floyd has the talent to pull out a W against the elite fighters up to 154,I just think floyd has chosen to protect that 0 rather than put it in jeopardy!!!

Floyd doesn't even fight to take risks anymore either.

You may need someone to really push him but at this point, will he respond like he used to?

Or does he just want to fight fighters closer to his size?

But, it's fighting the big boys that will get you more credit even though we've had "ATG" fighters stick with one division as their legacy.

This all is fine and dandy, but if floyd is trying to fight people his size,ISNT HIS SIZE WELTERWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!1That's where he is campaining at,Marquez's last fight was at lightweight, should there be a weight class just for Mayweather? Why should floyd be campaining at welterweight, but not fight welterweights!!Do u think him being smaller justifies this, isnt Cotto a smaller welterweight,if floyd believes he is smaller than the average welterweight, then why not fight at 140,if thats where he feels his size is??

I think he was great from the start, that display of defense only comes from a great fighter

The only way Floyd can take a "risk" is by fighting Paul Williams or someone who's MUCH bigger than him like Chad Dawson. It's not Floyd's fault that he's so much better than everyone else his own size and that there are no other challenges.
