hopkins didn't want to rematch rjj because he always wants the weight advatange

besides tarver who had to cut down from his rocky movie when has he fought someone bigger then him

this is the same man who starvs himself to make middleweight for all those years.

Hopkins would probably beat him, if they ever fought again.

The only problem is, Hopkins refuses to fight any his own size. Thus no Roy Jones fight.

He's not afraid of him, he just don't want to impose cruel and unusual punishment on Roy, that's all.

the deal there was that 25% goes to golden boy, and bernad and roy split it 50/50, how is that fair when bernard is apart of golden boy?

I used to kind of write this off but it's actually making sense now. Hopkins is willing to face Tito in a less lucrative fight even though Jones dismantled him with ease while Bernard claims the fight with Jones was over due to the same kind of lopsided loss to Joe Calzaghe. It just doesn't make sense.

I am issuing a poll to see who all agrees with me about it seeming like B-hop just don't want any part of Jones, even now. It almost seems like he knows Jones has the style to decisively stifle him. While he could always claim that he beat the other two/three men to have legitimately beat him, he could never make an excuse about the Jones loss.
youre a complete idiot because after the pavlik fight hopkins said to tha crowd, "DONT YALL WANNA SEE ME BEAT ROY JONES?!?!?!"
how bout u watch some boxing and stop making **** up, roys been ducking bhop forever, even when roy was commentating hopkins asked for a rematch and roy said no, theres a video here of roy jones before the calzaghe fight he wont give hopkins or taylor a rematch.

He wanted to rematch him before the Calaghe fight took place. Afterwards he said that him fighting and beating Roy would be a sham.

I respect him for saying that as it is true. He could have fought and battered Roy Jones and people would hail him for his dramatic revenge victory and sht.

If Jones beats Hopkins it's a great win, if Hopkins beats Jones no one cares. Hopkins knows this. Roy is still faster than Hopkins and a better boxer than Hopkins. Hopkins dosen't have the workrate to pressure Roy. I still think Hopkins might win but it would be competetive, styles makes fight. Hopkins dosen't want this low reward fight that he can possibly loose.
