Carlos was The Ring and the Lineal Welterweight champion when Floyd fought him, and if it wasn't for sanctioning fees, Baldomir would of been the Undisputed Welterweight champion.

you're right, i won't **** on baldo for fighting a shot fighter, just because he tried to beat better fighters than him, even with his limited abilities

and i also agree with mosley being the top champ at welter now, but not because he beat another fighter. he beat marg, who beat cotto, who beat him. cotto was the best welter resume-wise, until marg beat him. mosley's the man to beat now, although cotto would've been #1 if the commissions would've let cotto/clottey unify their titles
