for example, i dislike hopkins as a person. he threw my flag to the ground, even in my country, BUT i more than respect him as a boxer. in my eyes, he's one of the best (probably the best) boxers of his time. floyd could become that if he fought the top competition out there at their best weights instead of luring them to fight where they won't be 100% good

just like hopkins, he could earn respect as an ATG even if he loses, but he needs to step up and fight the best at whatever weight he settles himself in
