Generally being avoided by Hopkins, Jones, Toney, Winky and Tarver. Who, amazingly enough, didn't fancy fighting a guy from Wales who nobody in the US had heard of, who might actually be rather good, for peanuts, for the WBO strap.

    Odd, that.

What moment did you enjoy most in the career of Joe Calzaghe? Was it the first title win over Christ Eubank? The defining win over Jeff Lacy or was it simply just the beatdown of the all-time-great Roy Jones Jr.?

For me it has to be when he finished his career on top, by beating Roy Jones Jr., a great win by the way. Calzaghe was fresh on that night, he gave me one hell of a fight.

      What's yours?
For me it was the 10 years between the Eubank Lacy fights where he fought absolutely nobody and solidified the biggest joke career in boxing history.

The Lacy win alot of people seen Lacy as the second coming and would beat calzaghe, and some people view Lacy as a bum and don't give Calzaghe any credit for the win.
