    Average?

    OK, dig this:

If Joe Calzaghe was such an "average" fighter, why was it such a big deal for him to get beaten? Why is there a fuss about that? If any of his opponents had beaten him, it would be the most impressive win on their resume.

This is not the case for "average" fighters. Even in the amateur's, beating Calzaghe was a massive deal.

      Average Joke Calzaghe

My two favorite moments were him getting put on his ass by a 43 year old and a 40 year old in back to back fights.

      CLASSIC.

As classic as him getting off the floor and winning? Not quite.

Mark Delaney. He took some abuse during that fight. I'm glad he shut those morons up who spat at him.

Sorry, but love or hate Calzaghe anyone who thinks he was 'average' just knows **** all about boxing, period. Are you sure you are posting on the right forum?

His very very lucky, controversial split win over Robin Reid.

the jones fight, it was electric. all his career bottled up in 60 minutes of action. his whole legacy and undefeated record dependent on that one fight.

                      great way to bow out.
