    OK, dig this:

If Joe Calzaghe was such an "average" fighter, why was it such a big deal for him to get beaten? Why is there a fuss about that? If any of his opponents had beaten him, it would be the most impressive win on their resume.

This is not the case for "average" fighters. Even in the amateur's, beating Calzaghe was a massive deal.
So we can watch his ****** ignorant fans commit suicide. That's why.

Robin himself say on the ring apron after the figth and said he lost comfortably.

The fact is Ried always went to sleep in the middle rounds and he was 3 rounds down on MY card and I wanted him to win.
Well I scored the fight 115-114 to Reid. With the point deduction Joe was lucky to win the fight

        When Lacy would beat him...

        When Kessler would beat him...

        When Hopkins would beat him...

When Jones would beat him...there were a few!!!

The fact is, you can only polarize opinion if you are a great fighter. He was either loved or hated. Average fighter don't get loved, hated, or attention. I love it when somebody declares their contempt for Calzaghe. It just enforces the view that he is important enough to warrant somebodys hatred, and thus cannot be average.

Joe Calzaghe was a great fighter. I'm still hoping he comes back one last time, but I doubt he will.

                    Er.. lol?

Dude, the guy was hiding Wales for 99% of his career.

His promoter Warren when fired said it all. All Joe wanted to do was pull of of bouts all the time.

Whilst Hopkins, Roy Jones, Toney, Winky, Tarver etc. were all facing the best, where was Joe?

Facing Mediocre Mandatories. Dude, the guy is a talented boxer, but don't kid yourself, his career is laughable at best.

I'd say the Kessler win was my favourite. That was an amazing fight and Kessler was another great Champion (like Calzaghe) unlike the mass hype that was Jeff Lacy. Although don't get me wrong it was amazing to see Joe make Lacy his bitch and ruin him all at the same time.
