he was pointing out the fact, that mosley has only beaten 1 "great" fighter.

that doesn't make you an all-time great.

Shane is a very good fighter who I believe will go straight to Hof. The only current atg's fighting are BHop and Pac Mac(who still has a little to prove but he gets it for beating 3 top 6pfp guys already). Rjj-very good, all most great. Quis, I disagree that Floyd has a better resume than Shane. Shane has fought guys in their prime that were pfp guys (winky, oscar). Floyd had not, ever.

Shane's best wins were Oscar and Margarito.
Winky's best wins were Shane and Trinidad.

        Shane + Trinidad >> Oscar + Margarito.

        Agreed?

Winky did not become a P4P guy until AFTER he beat Shane. Right?

Corrales was #3 p4p, and Hatton was #8 p4p when Floyd beat them. Feel free to look that up.

Also, you have to take the TOTALITY of the boxing resumes into perspective.
Floyd had the better amateur career. Much. Floyd was undefeated. Floyd was on the p4p list for TEN YEARS, and at 31 for three years. Five Green Belts. No steroid taint.

To look at it objectively, just look at how the objective boxing writers had them ranked during their careers - which largely overlapped. They saw both. They had FMJ at #1, and SSM below that.

Can't say definetivly, but he has a decent argument.
Don't think anyone would laugh you out of the building if you had him in a top 100.

                  Agreed.

                  Mosley's biggest fights:

                  ODLH 2x
                  Forrest 2x
                  Winky 2x
                  Cotto
                  Margarito

Shane is either 2-6, or 3-5.

Your logic might be sound but your facts are not. Diego corrales #3???? No way, not even top 20. All he had beaten was angel manfredy smoke gainer and jukko. So you are telling me that Chico was 3 behind who? Rjj and bhop? So he was ranked higher than shane who was coming off his win over dlh. Trinidad who was a beast. Kostya tszyu, barrera, lennox, oscar, vernon Forrest (32-0) erik morales, finito lopez etc. I don't know what pfp you got that corrales at 3 from but it can't be legit. Maybe it was Horus' list.
Also, are you saying winky wasn't ranked when shane fought him? He was and so was Forrest.

I'll give you hatton, at 10 fir arguments sake but he was known as overrated already via the collazo fight so he was a very suspect top 10 pfp entrant.
