That's the best part of the gif. He hits the ref, ref doesn't even see it coming or notice. Awesome power.

Maybe because Ottke's resume could look something like 27-7 instead of 34-0, Boxrec Boy.

And also the fact that his fights are like watching paint dry. You've alot to learn kid, alot to learn.

You need to put down the crack pipe if you think I'm a boxrec boy. Way to COMPLETELY miss the point of thread dumb ****.

Real answer to your question: Beacause he's german mainly and because he was boring and had a couple of controversial wins.

Ottke had some outstanding wins which some people forget. He even outpointed Glen Johnson without controversy. Heck I guess I watched nearly all Ottkes fights always hoping that he'd get GTFO but of course that never happened. The guy was so elusive and was nicknamed the ghost for a reason.

Resuméwise he might be a notch below Calzaghe, but he's still got an excellent record.

It wasn't first brought up with Calzaghe as far as me seeing the " _ - 0; nuff said" bit.

But any fanboy that wants to start and end a conversation will use it as if to say, you have no case because the "O" is perfect.

              Very annoying.

The Lacy fight is really what defined Calzaghe's career and what made him the P4P start and popular fighter he ended up being. Otke doesn't have wins like that, therefore he is not remembered as kindly. Plus Otke had some disputed decisions.

Great amateur, solid pro. He is undeserving of his undefeated record. Calzaghe had only 2 fights that were somewhat controversial, Ottke had about 5 or 6. This doesn't mean he wasn't a good boxer because he was, until 2002 he used to be rated above Calzaghe.

Some terrible judging and refereeing in this fight:

                    34-0.

Is it because he never had a "second half" of his career like Joe did? A second half that Joe had that included Lacy and kessler (which would put him above Sven in my personal book) and two fights against rest home retirees.

So what is it? He doesn't get as much HBO hype or something>?

Are people trying to be ******ed or are they just bonafide wankers?

That clown of a ref was in the UK as a judge on a Warren promotion.

The guy is as crocked as Cortez and Nady.
