I think Gamboa isnt over rated but he is suspect
Ive seen a few of his fights and he is wide open. He got rocked twice in one fight, never the less he did come back to clean house. But it leaves alot of questions cause he is not even up to B fighters and he is getting rocked by c and D level fighters

yes Ramirez is a C level fighter. He has never even come close to facing anything resembling top opposition, never fought outside of the midwest and was a literal unknown when tapped to face Gamboa. The gaudy record came against bums like Mando Cordoba (who sucks and hasnt won in 12 fights), Priest Smalls, etc. His toughest opposition before Gamboa was De Jesus who promptly went on a three fight losing streak then had to fight a 3-5 and a fighter making his pro debut to get wins. Imagine that? a 21-3 fighter having to fight a fighter making his pro debut to win

yes Ramirez is a C level fighter if you wanted to boost Gamboa's case you should have said Darling Jimenez that might have helped more than some unknown fighter from the midwest

now hatton on the other hand is over fucng rated up the ass.. when he beat kostya he was suppose to dominate but did he? he gave lackluster performances besides the castillo fight up to when he got knocked to the ring post by floyd. so you tell me who is overrated?
