and that proves cortez was wrong. It wasnt so much that he constantly warned Hatton when Floyd was doing just as much if not more holding...it was the fact that he didnt warn Floyd back.

Its not the reason he lost...because its up to the fighter to adjust, but Cortez was def off.

And about Ricky hitting Floyd in the back...Floyd has a habit of turning to the point where his back is nearly facing the opponent, making it very hard to hit him, because the majority of his body facing his opponent is his back.

Hatton was deducted a point for hitting Floyd at the back of his head when half of Floyd's body was out of the ring.Besides he swore at Cortez saying 'what the **** d you want me to do?'.As a professional he was not supposed to do that.(remember how calm Floyd was during the Zab Juda fracas, that's what professionals do).

Hatton is said to be a dirty fighter because of his holding.Cortez kept telling the guys to separate.Holding is an offence.Cortez penalised Hatton for genuine offences.Unfortunately Hatton is used to getting away with the unacceptable that is why he was sour about the whole thing.

            2. Use of elbows, shoulders or forearms
            20. Crouching the body below the opponent´s belt defensively or to strike

hatton fought dirty and cortez did the right thing. however, if you watch the fight closely mayweather used A LOT of dirty tactics aswell but cortez hardly warned him. he must have elbowed hatton at least 10 times in the fight. but im not complaining hatton got some of his own medicine and deserved it for all the fighters he wrestled to death.

ricky was the one running into floys forearms and elbows as he was coming in. watch the fight again. there is nothing cortez can do about that.

Hatton, Roger and Floyd disagree with you.

“He was better and more clever on the inside than I thought he was, especially with the way he used his elbows, forearms and his shoulders,” Hatton said. “I feel all right and I felt really big and strong in the fight but I left myself open. I felt all right until he got me with the cut [in the third round]. I thought I was doing well and was in the fight but I didn’t stick to my gameplan. I don’t think he’s the hardest puncher but he was more clever. Sorry everybody but I’ll be back, don’t worry.”

Why am I even talking to you? you scored 6 out of the first 7 rounds for Hatton.
