No the writer of the article sexed up what he actually said.

I've been trying to find someone to bet with on that, but no one so far has been willing to put their money where their mouth is. I don't know who'll win, but I'm certain that Froch won't get KO'd or TKO'd, and anything up to 50k points says you're wrong about that. Would you like to bet on it?

Every fighter who's ever fought at top level from any country in the world has minor niggles before every fight, which is all Froch says he has. You can't go through a tough training camp without getting a few minor bruises. The article is just sensationalising a perfectly obvious statement that he made.

I don't think he looks anxious, he just looks pumped up to me. But Taylor looks to me as if he could possibly be over-confident. He'd better not be. Taylor at his absolute best will win, but anything below his best, he's in trouble.

Kessler also admitted it had no effect on him at all in the fight, and that he wasn't in any pain at all, and was able to land his punches with full force with no ill effects. He said it did affect his training though, in that he'd had less sparring than he'd have liked, but that was the only way in which he said it affected him. He said he thought that the lack of sparring affected his timing, but his timing was very good indeed in that fight, so I don't think it could have been a major factor.

.........unless you're getting your excuses lined up in advance. fighters who complain about being injured before a fight usually don't do to well.
He was asked about it so he replied, he always does that, it's just the way he is. He said specifically that he had nothing worse than the ordinary bumps and bruises that he always gets in training for every fight - the writer of the article just sensationalised it.

I'll bet you if someone will give me the points. I've got Taylor in 5 rounds. That's how you beat Froch, jump on him early and knock his ARSE out!!!:bukkake:

I really expect this to be competitive for only a round or two then Taylor turns up the gas and knocks Froch out. Now what makes this fight a little bit interesting is the fact that Froch has a decent punch and IF he connects with Taylor I may be eatin my words on Sunday . That being said I'd bet on the better fighter, Taylor and not on the guy who ONLY has a punchers chance to win.

If you're a 31 year old fighter without injuries you must be bionic.
