Rumor has it that Cornwallis had a nasty hangnail going into the American Revolution.

I noticed this too. Taylor looks very confident in press pictures, while Froch seems to have a face of anxiety. Maybe i'm looking to much into it.

That's not too bad, enough time has passed to give praise to the winner.

Froch is a good fighter, a hungry fighter. He wants to make a name for himself so he's took this fight in Taylors home country.

I think he can win and if he does he will have earned respect in America also. He's entertaining and he comes to fight.

It should be a good bout.

if the injuries are nothing series, and nothing different from the ordinary bumps and bruises you always enter the ring with, what is the point of talking about it?

.........unless you're getting your excuses lined up in advance. fighters who complain about being injured before a fight usually don't do to well.

I think taylor will start by boxing froch from a distance for the first few rounds whereas froch will try to impose himself on taylor fairly early as he did with pascal. The only outcome i can see for this fight are a decision for taylor or possibly a late stoppage for froch.Altough if froch does lose i hope his "niggles" dont come in to play for an excuse.

He said that he is 100%. He said he has minor niggles but that he has those in every fight, and they're no worse in this fight than in any other fight he's ever had. He also said he's as fit and healthy as he's ever been in any fight he's ever had, and the best prepared he's ever been for a fight. So you've completely misread the article.
