Froch isn't the excuse making type. He fought Pascal with a cracked rib, which was far more serious than the minor knocks he has now. He said in the interview that he has minor "niggles" of the type he has now in every fight he has ever fought, so how is that setting up an excuse? The article is blowing this completely out of proportion, but Froch isn't.Comment

Seems a bit fishy to me: if theyre only minor things, "knocks and ****s", then why did he optionally/intentionally/specifically raise the issue.
I'm sure Taylor will thrive on this, whether he hears it before or notices it in the ring, he's gonna love pumping that jab into Froch, knowing that it's picking him apart slowly.Comment

The title is a bit misleading, but why would he even mention the injuries if they were not serious? There is no point in commenting on it, especially before a huge fight like this.Froch isn't the excuse making type. He fought Pascal with a cracked rib. I think the article is a little over-exaggerating Froch's problem. He has had many 'minor' injury problems before other fights, but raising it before the biggest fight of your career doesn't seem right.
It could be a ploy, to make Taylor come for him, to pick him apart, setting him up into a battle, which Froch favours. Who knows?Comment
