He's setting himself up in case he loses, and if the fight is close, he'll use this as leverage to get a rematch, smart doggy I'd say.

you lot make me laugh. How many of you actually know ANYTHING about Carl Froch pre this fight, or the Pascal fight??

This is completely normal for Carl, always has been.

God, listening to you lot is a joke "ready made excuse right there".

Seriously, learn a little before coming out with such idiotic rubbish.

I like Froch and all but he is going to lose this fight. Jermaine is just too skilled and more experienced than Froch and that will lead him to the finish line. I would be happy if Froch did pull it off but I doubt it even more every passing day. Very excited for this Saturday though.

Aren't you a bit defensive/aggressive. I know about the rib injury Carl sustained before the Pascal fight. Carl is one of my favorite fighters but mentioning injuries {even minor} before a fight isn't something you should do, unless he has a motive?

Ok, did you not also notice him state, quite clearly, that it was not an excuse, and that he always carries niggles into a fight.

Besides, i honestly dont see him losing this fight, he's too big and strong for Taylor, who above 160 cant cut it.

In an ideal world, once he's beaten Taylor he'll match up against a natural super mid in Kessler. If he gets thast fight, and wins it, which wont be easy, then we'll be looking at a proper champion.

at 31 its very much tick tock tick tock.

I agree with your outcome of the fight, Taylor IMO will not be able to cope with the natural super middleweight power of Froch. Kessler vs Froch would be a great bout. One of those "niggles" was a rib injury vs Pascal and that is serious. He could mean anything by niggles.

He just sounds like he's making excuses.

Taylor should win this but Froch has a chance.

Yeah I remember Froch saying he had bad ribs and a bad ear before Pascal, anyway i got Taylor by UD Froch is strong and has a great chin but I just feel Taylor is to skilled.
