I wasn't talking to you. Look at what I quoted.
Apparently you interpreted it differently. As I was typing it, I felt I wasn't giving that impression.

That was a comment targeted toward your general criteria of what you consider rhyming wrods.
I didnt quote you right before I talked about suffixes, did I?
so it wasnt directed at you.

      Who gives a shyt.....really?
lol, Im having fun, **** off boat buyer.
Jesus, have people not heard of any kind of music?

Words don't need to EXACTLY rhyme. Listen to ANY music and get the hell out of here.
difference is, in songs the artists stretch the words' sounds to make them rhyme...Sr doesnt make any such effort, and tries to use the two words as they are, pretending that they rhyme.

assonance does not = real rhyming.

First of all, rappers dont' stretch words very often. Quite the opposite, actually. They speed up words, to blend the overall sound. And I can point out SOME 'singing artists' if I cared to that don't really do much stretching of the words, at all.

they dont stretch the whole word, they stretch certain sounds in the word, and speed up the other ones. that way that particular sound sticks out among the other ones, and is rhymable with another.

I dont mean they make the word longer than usual, they just butcher the original, traditional sound of the word to fit with another one.

Sr does not change the word whatsoever.

I mean, its kind of easy to think of, considering that Roach is a boxing coach....
joke coach roach rhymes if you don't enunciate correctly.

                folks

Some of those words rhyme, traditionally. Some don't. The point is that artistically it works. It's not about every letter and syllable fitting. It's about the sound and how it feels/sounds when being performed.

Name ANY artist/musician, and I'll find perfect examples of this.
roach the joke coach just groped those folks?

                  I can agree with that.

but sadly...Floyd Sr says joke and coach correctly...
so in his case, it doesnt rhyme.

What he's doing isn't rhyme, it's called oblique rhyme. The end vowel sounds are (almost) the same (and may in fact be completely the same, given Floyd's particular dialect of English), so the consonants which follow don't necessarily have to be.
