no, because lasagna has more syllables than coach, so it doesnt work. same with dumptruck. although that insult is much more clever, and I would prefer if Sr used it.

then I would be impressed, because those words actually rhyme.

but Joke and Coach just dont rhyme.

To settle this: it is called a Assonance rhyme. If you read any poetry you will notice that not all the words rhyme exactly. Sometimes poets use half rhymes. You are used to PURE rhymes. It's artistic lenience. Anyone from Bob Dylan to Tupac uses it. Words don't PERFECTLY fit, but the way they display them fit them well enough.

Just like a painter. Certain things don't really look a certain way, arne't a certain color or certain colors don't go well together in a painting. However, the artist is allowed to mold things for the better of the piece of work.

Some of those words rhyme, traditionally. Some don't. The point is that artistically it works. It's not about every letter and syllable fitting. It's about the sound and how it feels/sounds when being performed.

Name ANY artist/musician, and I'll find perfect examples of this.

If you really wanted to, you could make Loan and Coach rhyme, but you would have to put an even stronger emphasis on the Long "O" sound.

Pure Assonance Rhyme

1. Single Pure Assonance Rhyme (example: leaves / feast)
2. Double Pure Assonance Rhyme (example: babies / lady)
3. Triple Pure Assonance Rhyme (example: Cerements / temperance)
