      Geez

Floyd fought Oscar at 154 his best weight
Pacman fought Oscar at 147. Oscar admitted he was weight drained after the fight
In all fairness, both Pac and Floyd didn't fight the best Oscar. yea 154 was the more suitable weight for Oscar at that point of his career, but was that the Oscar we saw fight Trinidad or even Vargas? But that's without saying. The reason the Pac victory got so much notoriety was because of Pac's climbing up of the divisions in one year. It's more of an acknowledgment of Pac's overall skills and ability to fight at a weight he's never fought before than people saying "He beat the #1 fighter Oscar De La Hoya".

Plus, Floyd was favored 3-1 to win on the Vegas line, Manny was the underdog and was more dominant regardless of the weight drain. Blame Oscar and his team for that, Pac came prepared and finished the job.

Floyd schooled Oscar at Oscar's weight. Manny didn't.

as I always give credit to Floyd for that. If he never fought Castillo again and went on to fight the same people, would he be looked at any different?

              I agree
But the difference is Floyd will always start favorite from 140 to 154 against any fighter. Second yes both PBF/Pac did not beat the version of Oscar.

Pacman was underdog but he outweighed Oscar. Floyd was favourite but was outweighed by nearly 20 pounds

LOL he wasn't outweighed by 20 lbs. That means Oscar was weighing close to 170?? At most 8 or 9 pounds. Floyd was favored in their fight simply for being recognized as BETTER than Oscar at that point. You can't knock Manny for coming in prepared. Why Oscar only hydrated to 3 or 4 pounds is on him and his team.

both of you need to get over this. old man version of Oscar isnt that great a win for Manny nor for Mayweather, regardless of the weight class.

I mean, they both have much better wins. who cares.

The record book says "robbery" though.
Castillo lost very closely to an injured Floyd the first time, then got his ass out-boxed easily in the rematch. LOL

You make Mexicans look like losers with your "Castillo" crap in every Floyd thread. Castillo lost, deal with it!
